Does Permitech work with contractors?
Yes. Contractors, builders and trade teams use the contractor plans: Starter at $249 a month, Growth at $499 and Pro at $999, with a Custom plan for 50 or more permits a month. Every plan includes permit research for each address, the AI Permit Assistant, the Control Tower permit board, Bids & Proposals, and Licenses & Insurance tracking.
Do I need a subscription for one project?
No. Homeowners pay per project: the DIY Permit Package is $60 one time, and Done For You starts at $199 per project. Subscriptions are for teams that run permits every month.
Who files the permit?
With the DIY Permit Package and the contractor plans, you file, using the plan and documents Permitech prepares. Done For You adds preparation, filing and follow-up by a Permitech permit technician, and Concierge manages submittals across a contractor's work.
What does the permit check cost?
The permit check is free. Enter the address and the project to see which office issues the permit before you pay for anything.

How does annual billing work for contractor plans?
Annual plans are a one-year commitment billed upfront and include two months free compared with paying monthly for twelve months. Monthly plans remain month to month.
